Curriculum Vitae

Martin Simnacher studied mechanical engineering at TU München and received his doctoral degree from the Institute of Orthopaedic Research and Biomechanics at the University of Ulm.

From 1999 to 2008, he worked as a senior research scientist for Plus Orthopedics at Aarau.

In March 2008, Martin Simnacher joined the SMS team to manage the FP7-EU project called MIMICS.

His research interest include three dimensional force measurements and the determination of the interaction forces between hands/feet and holds during sport climbing.
