Fabian Just

Fabian Just, PhD student, began his work in May 2015. He is developing the fifth version of ARMin, an arm rehabilitation robot specifically designed with intelligent control strategies to enhance the capabilities of therapists.

Fabian received his B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering and information technology from Ruhr-Universität Bochum (Germany) in 2012. Subsequently he received a M.Sc. degree in electrical and computer engineering from Purdue University (IN, USA) in 2013 as well as a M.Sc. degree in automatic control from Ruhr-Universität Bochum in 2014. From 2014 to 2015 he worked at the institute of automation and computer control of Prof. Lunze at Ruhr-Universität Bochum as a research and teaching assistant.

As a graduate student at the school of ECE at Purdue University Fabian developed a filtering algorithm for electrical wheelchair users with Parkinson's disease to decrease tremor effects.
