MyoSwiss
MyoSwiss AG is an ETH Spin-off founded in 2017 by Jaime Duarte (previously a postdoc in the SMS lab) and Kai Schmidt (previously a PhD student in the SMS lab). Its flagship product, the Myosuit, is a soft wearable exoskeleton for applications in rehabilitation and physiotherapy and usage in daily life.
akina
Akina was founded in 2021 by two former members of the SMS Lab, Florian Haufe (CEO) and Michele Xiloyannis (CTO), after years of research in the areas of rehabilitation technology and robotics. The Akina team closely works with the SMS Lab, sharing expertise on movement science, AI, software development and rehabilitation technology.
